Interim Official Control Requiring Permanent Supportive Housing, Transitional Housing, Emergency Housing and Emergency Shelters.

The City of Redmond will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, 15670 N.E. 85th Street, Redmond, Washington on October 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

SUBJECT: Public Hearing for Ordinance No. 3059….to amend the Redmond Zoning Code…..that requires allowed use of permanent supportive housing and transitional housing in all zoning districts where residential dwellings and/or hotels are allowed, and emergency housing and emergency shelters in all zoning districts where hotels are allowed.

A copy of the proposal will be available on City of Redmond website or at Redmond City Hall no later than October 1.

Ordinance No. 3059 takes away your voices and your rights, and paves the way for any future homeless hotels without your input. Please show up, pack the room and give public comment. We’ll gather outside at 6:30pm with signs.

I will not be able to make it in person for the ” Public Hearing for Ordinance 3059 on Tuesday, October 5th at 7:00 pm at the Redmond City Council Chambers”.
I am very much concerned about safety and health risks the Redmond HTH homeless facility would bring.
My Vote will be for all the ( #2, #4, #6 positions ) three Independent Candidates. Is there any way I can do virtually? Thank You

Sorry that I couldn’t attend. I am a Clinical Psychologist and I need to see almost all of my clients after they finish work. I just saw the Redmond meeting on TV. How many people were able to speak? Is there any hope of adding restrictions, like taking homeless kids, elderly and formerly emoyed Redmond people like the Black woman who spoke?
